15/13 Rotational, Wells & Gethering Technicians

Brunel Australasia are seeking experienced and qualified Wells and Gathering Technicians to support our Client’s operations in the Surat Basin.

 

  • Immediate start
  • $600 – $750 per day depending on experience
  • Point of hire is Brisbane (bus options to Brisbane available)
  • 15 days on / 13 days off ,10 hour days
  • 12 month contract, temp-to-perm
  • Camp accommodation

 

About the Opportunity

The role will be accountable for carrying out wellsite activities related to the operations of wells and the associated gathering systems, specifically –

 

  • Inspect and maintain well sites, wellheads and valves, ensuring well site gathering system vegetation control and general tidiness.

 

  • Collect and collate information from wells and gathering systems, and respond to identified production issues as required, maintaining a strong focus on production optimisation.

 

  • Coordinate logistic support (transport, materials, etc.) for well site production activities.

 

  • Maintain operational support for emergency response equipment as required.

 

Skills and Experience

  • Mechanical Trade qualified background
  • Automotive, heavy diesel fitting and diesel mechanic background highly regarded
  • Operation of gas engines, hydraulic motors and pumps
  • Hydrocarbon handling safety principles and practices
  • General company operating procedures and practices
  • Instrumentation and measuring principles and practices
  • Operation and maintenance of gas compression equipment
  • Permit Authority Certificate (desirable)
  • Trained and verified as competent to operate plant and equipment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Intermediate computer skills – Microsoft Office
  • Knowledgeable of policies and procedures relating to Gas Well Site regulatory conditions
