Job description
Prepare Engine Room and Utility Systems for start-up.
Start and Monitor Engine Room and Utility Systems
Prepare and Shutdown Engine Room and Utility Systems.
Isolate and reinstate Engine Room and Utility Systems
Contribute to control of critical situations and respond to emergencies
Manage and Supervise Effectively
Monitor And Maintain Pollution Control Measures
Carry out Emergency Response Role
Provide any additional duties as required
Job requirements
Qualified to EOOW STCW Reg AIII/1
At least 1-year experience as Watch keeping Marine Engineer (steam turbine watch keeping experience preferable).
VLCC experience preferred.
Medically fit to offshore International standards such as ENG1 or equivalent.
Required certificates:
STCW III/1 COC or above,
BST (STCW A-VI/1) + Heli-Underwater Escape Training (HUET) or Basic Offshore Survival (CBSP) / BOSIET (IMO A1079 (28))
CA-EBS,
Emergency Response Team Leader or OERTL (OPITO) or Advanced Fire Fighting (STCW A-VI/3)
