Position:
Field Civil QC Inspector
Work Rotation : 5 Weeks On/ 5 Weeks Off
Work Location : Oman
Reports to:
Project Manager/Construction Manager
Goals:
To ensure that the quality of work related to civil is checked and maintained by inspecting on materials, equipment and construction/installation activities on site.
Responsibilities:
Execute the specific inspections on materials, equipment, and construction/installation activities on site.
Check the preparation/installation of foundations is done by Contractor as per drawings and CCED’ procedures and specifications.
Check the correct preparation of reinforcements done by Contractor as per drawings and CCED’ procedures and specifications.
Witness concrete testing and earthwork tests.
Check all the required certifications are approved and monitor all civil operations are done correctly as per CCED’s procedures and specifications.
Perform the required surveillance (“monitor”, “witness”, “hold point”) on due time as per related inspection notifications and being acknowledged in advance with the applicable standards and specifications.
