Description
Should have the full knowledge of electrical safety in medium voltage and low voltage. Knows the handling of electrical tools and electrical testing equipment. Capable of reading basic electrical materials, medium voltage and low voltage cables, wires, conduits, installation of electrical equipment, conduits, wiring. Basic knowledgeable in electrical materials, medium voltage and low voltage cables, wires conduits, installation of electrical equipment, conduits, wiring. Diagnoses basic faults in electrical circuits. Basic repairs electrical apparatus, motors, circuit breaker, and starters. Knowledgeable in low voltage and medium voltage switch gears, motor control centers, transformers, vacuum and air circuit breakers, different types of motors and UPS System. Conducts preventive maintenance of electrical equipment. Responsible for immediate restoration of electrical machinery in operation and attend to service call and minor maintenance. Obtains necessary work permits, safety precautions, and understanding of the job, location, knowledge in life saving rule and LTT procedure according to plant safety policies. Carries out housekeeping after completion of the job. Conducts testing in electrical circuits, power cables, switch gears, motors, circuit breakers with multi amp test units. Two (2) years Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. Two (2) years of experience in similar position.
