We currently have an opportunity within SPIE Oil & Gas Services UAE for a:
Production Operator
Job Purpose:
This is an opportunity for you to be responsible, lead and ensure the constant operation of the entire plant from the DCS systems For a Gas Plant.
Your main duties will be to:
– In-charge of the field operations and troubleshooting for all operations.
– Ensure the process isolations prior to Maintenance teams intervention as required
– Do the readings of parameters that are not transmitted to the DCS.
– Coordinate delivery and changeover of chemical products launchers, coordination of out of site maintenance activities (metering, pipe repairs/inspection, remote instrumentation, etc.), liaison with COMPANY contractors, i.e., drilling, workover, etc.
Profile
– Ideally, you will have a Degree in engineering discipline from a recognized university with 10 experience in execution of Pre-Commissioning & Commissioning activities for a Gas Plant.
– You will have a minimum of 07 years’ proven experience working in a similar role
– You will preferably have previous work experience in GCC country. Experience working in Iraq is advantage.
– You will have proven experience in Safety precautions and occupational hazards in the use of equipment; safe work methods and practices.
– You will have a good level of computer literacy and be proficient in industry commissioning software and systems and advance skills in Microsoft Office. You will need excellent communication and presentation skills in English both written and verbal in English.
