DIESEL ENGINE//HEAVY EQUIOMENT MEC HANIC
BASIC FUNCTION
Carries out the skilled preventive and corrective maintenance on diesel engines and heavy duty vehicles including Hook Lifts Truck mechanical devices such as Diesel engine pumps and crane apparatus the crane truck. Includes prevention and routine maintenance tasks such as checking and changing oil, hydraulic fluids, filters and water as well as dismantling repair and re-assembly of engines, gear assemblies and other associated equipment.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
• Completion of Technical Diploma.
• 4 years’ experience in maintenance of rotating machines and diesel engine, Fire and Gas systems and firefighting equipment and systems. Multi-craft (Mechanical, Electrical and instrument) knowledge will be preferred.
• Good Knowledge in English
• Completion of Basic Firefighting Training course
