Job description
We currently have an opportunity within SPIE Oil & Gas Services Saudi Arabia for a:
Control Room Operators
Job Purpose:
This is an opportunity for you to be responsible and be In-charge of pre-commissioning and commissioning/startup activities for a major refinery.
Your main duties will be to:
Execute Pre-commissioning and commissioning/startup activities for work site assigned to.
Execute appropriate processes needed for Pre-commissioning and commissioning/startup activities for work site assigned, in compliance with procedures and instructions.
Profile
Ideally, you will have a Degree in chemical engineering discipline from a recognized university with 10 experience in execution of Pre-Commissioning & Commissioning activities for a major complex Refinery/Petrochemical Plants.
You will have a minimum of 5 years’ proven experience working as a DCS console operator in a major refinery.
You will preferably have previous work experience in GCC country. Experience working in Saudi Arabia is advantage.
You will have proven experience in Safety precautions and occupational hazards in the use of equipment; safe work methods and practices.
You will have a good level of computer literacy and be proficient in industry commissioning software and systems and advance skills in Microsoft Office. You will need excellent communication and presentation skills in English both written and verbal in English.
