Due to continued growth, we are looking to hire a Corrosion Monitoring Commissioning Engineer full-time within our Middle East regional office, located in the United Arab Emirates.
The position responsibilities include:
Creation and review of work scopes
The installation of corrosion monitoring devices and instrumentation
Configuration and interrogation of data logging equipment
Installation and configuration of online wired and wireless instrumentation
Ensuring communication back to customer DCS
Use of various Corrosion Monitoring software packages
Completion of all applicable documentation and record keeping
Report writing and data analysis
Required Skills/Experience:
Degree in Engineering
Should possess a proven technical background
Ability to multi-task with strong analytical and time management skills
Strong initiative
Ability to work independently
Experience in troubleshooting and commissioning
Excellent communication skills
Competent computer skills including Microsoft Office
Fluent in English
Basic understanding of AC and DC powered electronics
Understand various communications protocols such as Modbus and OPC
Communications over fiber optic and ethernet networks
The position involves travelling to client sites offshore and onshore within the Middle East region, and throughout other global locations.
