Doosan Babcock is currently looking for ‘Instrument & Control Technicians’ to assist a project for 2 months (Extendable) for Nuclear Power plant in the UAE.
This is for an outage project on a nuclear plant so both nuclear and outage experience are required for this position.
Main Responsibilities
· Proficient with hand tools
· Use of DMM (digital multi meter), Decade (resistance) Box. Druck pressure test equipment or hand pump with digital gauge
· Experience in testing and calibrating Pressure switch, Level switch, flow switch, RTD’s and TC (look for at least 3 of these)
· Experience with all instruments pressure, flow, level, temp, vibration, speed sensors
· Experience with speed sensor gap set up (use of feeler gauges) and voltage checks
· Has experience with Digital rod control systems
· Has experience with turbine instrumentation Vibration, Temperature, Pressure
· Preparation and reinstatement of equipment, work area to safe conditions
· Outage experience working on nuclear power plants
· Strong technical background (mech)
Salary and other terms & Conditions:
Salary is negotiable as per experience and qualification.
Diploma / Degree in the relevant field is must.
Certificate in the Nuclear and relevant field is preferrable.
An Intermediate level of English proficiency (particularly in listening and speaking)
Nuclear experience (primary side equipment’s) Not turbine
08 hours, 06 days a week,
Single status contract
Food, accommodation, transport provided by company.
Basic salary will contribute 60% of the salary
Overtime is applicable on basic.
