Job title – lead Electrical Technician
Electrical Trade Certificate (NVQ 3, HNC or equivalent)
Minimum Experience:
Ten (10) years’ combined experience in Oil and Gas Operations in electrical maintenance activities and fault finding of LV and MV Equipment, preferably on FPSOs, including but not limited to:
• LV and MV switchgear and switching experience.
• Inspection and Maintenance of Ex Electrical Equipment in Hazardous Areas.
• Operation and maintenance of MV Variable Frequency Drives, AC and DC UPS Systems, LV and HV Switchgear, Power Generation, Power Transformers and Electrical Protection Schemes and Devices.
• Fault diagnostics and repairs on above system.
• Working knowledge of diagnostic software and tools.
• Experience in ECS/PMS (Electrical Control Systems/Power Management Systems)
• Technical knowledge of pre-commissioning and commissioning requirements for electrical installations.
• Technical knowledge of PTW systems, HSE and Environment Management systems.
• Working knowledge of MS Office Standard Package.
• Working knowledge of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System, preferably SAP)
