Expro Group are currently recruiting for a Well Test Workshop/Maintenance Technician (Onshore) to join their Well Test and Commissioning operation based in Stavanger. The successful candidates will be required to maintain, diagnose and repair a variety of oil field service equipment. There will be a requirement to work as part of the maintenance team in order to carry out daily tasks in a safe and timely manner ensuring full traceability for the work undertaken.
Principal Accountabilities
To ensure that all workshop activities are carried out in a safe and timely manner.
Ensure that all Quality Assurance and Safety procedures are followed, at all times.
To ensure that tasks are performed with the appropriate level of competence.
To ensure that all work undertaken is performed in accordance with current and up-to-date maintenance procedures.
To ensure that all work performed is undertaken in accordance with the appropriate permits and risk assessment procedures.
Assist in the review and update of Maintenance Procedures and base Risk Assessments.
To ensure that all consumables and spares are accounted for and logged for recharging where appropriate.
To ensure that work is undertaken efficiently and the time taken to perform maintenance tasks is in accordance with company guidelines and internal estimates.
To ensure that all timesheets are filled out as per Expro procedures to ensure all records are accurate, current and up-to-date.
Perform and assist others where necessary in the pressure testing, disassembly and assembly of equipment.
To ensure that all jobs are undertaken with a work order and job cards are well presented, complete, and up-to-date.
Monitor workshop activities and recommend and implement performance improvements where appropriate.
Assist in the integration of offshore and interbase personnel whilst working in workshop.
Assist in the development of junior staff.
To maintain a high standard of house keeping throughout the workshop and yard.
Ensure that equipment is received and loaded out correctly, packaged securely within correct baskets/containers.
Take reasonable care to prevent harm to themselves and consider the potential harm to others or the environment that may be caused by acts or omissions.
Refrain from intentionally misusing or recklessly interfering with anything that has been provided for Health, Safety and Environmental reasons
