Planner Primavera P6
Location: Chauny, France
Duration: 12 months renewable
Leap29 are currently looking for an experienced Planner to join a large chemical company for a 12- month renewable contract.
Role:
·Attend progress meetings with Internal and External Customers and deliver presentations on project progress,
·Liaise with designers and other suppliers to ensure their programmes or sequence of works are integrated into the project programme,
·Provide technical input and advice as necessary,
·Responsible for ensuring progress and productivity is effectively monitored against the project plan and to put in place any corrective measures, where necessary,
·Ensure contract requirements with respect to time and cost are fully met and administered throughout all projects,
·Monitor performance issues to ensure the appropriate steps are in line with the agreements and expectations of customer and client.
Requirements:
·Degree Qualified in relevant field Engineering/ Project management,
·Extensive understanding of and use of planning software – Primavera P6,
·Spoken and written French skills,
·Responsible for producing project planning activities from conception to completion using P6,
·Previous Chemical project experience,
·Extensive experience in programme and project management, project planning, including programme controls, project review, and cost and risk analysis,
·Experience in the interpretation of data and information and producing it in a clear and logical format,
·Extensive planning & controls experience at a similar level within large multi-disciplinary or full turnkey projects,
·Good capability in MS Office applications, in particular, MS Excel,
·Build an understanding of project interfaces across multiple teams.
