Applicants must possess:
• Relevant work experience on an FPSO/FSO/TANKER/RIGS is required.
• Possess the necessary safety certificates/training (STCWs) for all Marine and Engine Room Crew
a. Cargo Operators (2nd Officers License), Cargo Supervisors (Chief Officer License) and Marine Superintendents (Master License) are expected to have experience on Oil Tankers (Suezmax, VLCCS), FSOs, FPSO
b. Bosun, Crane Operators, Pumpmet and Able Seamen are to have their STCW II/4, PSCRB, Basic Oil Tanker Familiarization, Certificate for Security Awareness and Designated Duties
c. Engine Room Supervisors (Chief or 2nd Engineer License) and Engine Room Operator (3rd Engineer License) are also expected to have experience with Steam Engine and Boilers.
d. Engine Room Assistants are expected to have their STCW III/4, PSCRB, Basic Oil Tanker Familiarization, Certificate for Security Awareness and Designated Duties
• Instrumentation Technicians with COMPEX training will be given a higher consideration
• Control Room Operators with DCS Training will be given a higher consideration
• Production Operators with training in Production Process Training will be given a higher consideration
• Laboratory Technicians with NUPRC Accredited Lab Chemist Competency Training will also be given higher consideration
All Technicians, Operators must have an HND, B. Sc, B. Eng. or B. Tech. relevant to their role and at least 5 years’ experience which 2 must have been in an Oil and Gas Facility.
