Safety Officer

We are partnering with a global maritime organisation to recruit for a qualified Safety Officer in Singapore to work at one of the company managed terminals.

You are responsible for ensuring that all safety tools and equipment are regularly maintained and tested as per regulatory requirements. You conduct scheduled safety training and safety drills as per company’s OHSE guidelines. You are also expected to conduct safety induction course for new joiners. You will regularly review OHSE manuals and ensure they are up to date with current regulations, and that changes are being properly implemented. Performing incident investigations and risk assessment, and to make recommendations for preventive actions. Promote safety awareness through regular sharing.

To be considered, you are a WSH Registered Officer holding relevant confined space assessor certification, and has relevant working experience in Chemical, Petrochemical or Oil & Gas industry. Proficiency in Mandarin is required to lead, guide and train Mandarin speaking workers and contractors.
