Job Description

JOB PURPOSE
Strategize and enforce compliance and adherence to policies and plant operations governance to build organizational excellence culture and mindset that contribute to long-term operational excellence and self-regulating culture.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
1) INSTITUTIONALIZATION OF RISK GOVERNANCE
Execute and facilitate the institutionalization of risk policy, framework and guidelines in line COMPANY’S risk management practices and regulatory/ legislative requirements to ensure standardization and seamless risk management implementation across the Business and effectively safeguard the Company.

2) PLANT GOVERNANCE FRAMEWORK
Lead and drive plant governance framework to ensure sustainable delivery of Operational Excellence and Statutory Compliance towards safe plant operations.

3) OPERATIONAL GOVERNANCE IMPLEMENTATION
Support the compliance as well as other COMPANY’S governance and statutory requirements to institutionalize strong governance culture and safeguarding COMPANY’S’ interest

4) AUDIT MANAGEMENT
Assist and facilitate Audit Management related matters to strengthen good governance and safeguard the key stakeholders’ interests against the effects of business risk exposure.

5) ADVISORY
Coordinate and assist the advisory role and activities of Governance and Assurance related matters at Business level including issues and concerns on the implementation of risk management frameworks & guidelines and risk assurance practices to ensure standardization, seamless implementation, and effective risk controls across business

NETWORKING AND RELATIONSHIP BUILDING
Foster and sustain effective working relationships and rapport with the government authorities, business and management institutions, national and key industry players and service providers to keep abreast with latest development to capture new business opportunities.

GOOD GOVERNANCE 
Enforce the implementation of applicable COMPANY’S procedures and guidelines and affect the compliance to statutory and legislative requirements to ensure conformance to the established Limits of Authority (LOA) to safeguard COMPANY’S interest, image and reputation.

CODES OF CONDUCT & BUSINESS ETHICS (COBE) AND HSE POLICIES
Communicate, interpret and champion the execution of the objectives and provisions of the Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) policies and Codes of Conduct & Business Ethics (COBE) and undertake appropriate mitigation and/or intervention programmed to safeguard business operations, high staff discipline and industrial harmony.

LEADERSHIP AND CAPABILITY DEVELOPMENT
Drive the development of competent working team that will enhance and sustain staff capabilities in achieving high performance delivery to ensure internalization of the right leadership and capabilities in executing their jobs.

Develop and implement distinctive mindset, behavior and culture to achieve high work performance by adoption and implementation of value interventions, tools and methodologies to promote and instill high sense of commitment, ownership, integrity and loyalty that will contribute to operational excellence.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
Possess minimum bachelor’s degree in any engineering discipline preferably Chemical Engineering.
Strong experience with LNG Plant Operations and Maintenance in any LNG and Gas Processing Plants (7-9 years’ experience)
